Born Richard Stephen Sambora in 1959 to Adam and Joan Sambora in New Jersey. Richie grew up in Woodbridge New Jersey where
he started playing guitar at the age of twelve. He had been in many bands before joining Bon Jovi. He left the band Richie
Sambora and Friends to join Bon Jovi. He was once asked to play for Kiss but refused. He dated Cher for a few years in the
early nineties but started dating Heather Lockler in 1993 and they married in Paris,the city of love,in 1994. They had their
first and only child ,Ava Sambora, in 1997.
